About Watchlist Loop
A watch-order guide for film franchises: which films you actually need, which you can skip, and where to start.
What "essential" means
Every curated franchise is split into films that carry the main story and films that don't. Essential means you'd be missing plot, not just a spin-off, if you skipped it. That call is editorial — a person watched the franchise and decided, it is not inferred from a rating or a release date. Where a franchise has not been curated yet, the page shows the full film list instead of guessing at what's essential.
Why it's free
No account, no subscription, no paywalled tier. Watch progress and saved loops live in your browser, not an account — nothing to sign up for and nothing to lose by not signing up.
